Winnie Yan, Founder of Advance Consulting Limited, is a highly qualified independent educational consultant who specializes in advising students and families as they navigate the colleges or boarding schools admissions landscapes. She works with a broad spectrum of students, matching their academic needs and personal goals with the best fit school.
Prior to establishing Advance Consulting Limited, Winnie accrued years of experience coaching students on the boarding school and college admissions process. She is an esteemed member of the Independent Educational Consultant Association (IECA), National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the International Association for College Admission Counseling (International ACAC). She actively participates in and contributes to various overseas educational consultant conferences, seminars and programs and is updated on university, college and boarding school admissions trends and related developments.
Winnie has completed various field-related programs, including a bachelor’s degree from University of London, a Certificate Program in Independent Educational Consulting from University of California Extension, Irvine. She was also conferred a master's degree in Education from the University of Hong Kong.
