Winnie Yan is the Founder of Hong Kong-based college and university admissions consulting firm, Advance Consulting Limited. A highly qualified independent educational consultant, she specializes in advising international students and families as they navigate the university or boarding school admissions process. She works with a broad spectrum of clients, matching their academic needs and personal goals with the right school.

Prior to establishing Advance Consulting Limited, Winnie accrued years of experience coaching students on the boarding school and university admissions process. She is a member of the Independent Educational Consultant Association (IECA) and National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).

Winnie actively participates in educational consulting through conferences and seminars in the U.S. and Hong Kong.  She is knowledgeable about all of the latest college and university admissions trends and developments.  Esteemed by her peers, she is a member in good standing of an international professional network of educational consultants and admissions officers.

Winnie has completed various field-related programs, including a Bachelor of Science from University of London and a Certificate Program in Independent Educational Consulting, University of California Extension, Irvine.  She has also earned a Master in Education from the University of Hong Kong.
